World Record by Paras Khadka, Captain of Nepal

Captain Paras Khadka has written history with an accomplishment that even the Virat Kohli of India or Rohit Sharma in T20 International cricket can not accomplish. The 31-year-old all-rounder was the only captain in the T20I match for a century. Paras Khadka scored an unbeatable knock of 106 runs in order to help Nepal push down a 152-run goal with four goals to be spared in Saturday’s T20I tri-series game. In his 52-ball knock at the Singapore Indian Association Ground, Paras Khadka broke seven boundaries and nine six.

Paras Khadka also joined the elite club of captains with cricket 100s from the T20I. Although 5 other captains first scored a battle of the T20I century, Paras Khadka is the only one in a chase which has the magical mark of three people.

Aaron Finch and Shane Watson from Australia, Faf du Plessis, former South African T20I captain, Tillakaratne Dilshan and Rohit Sharma from Sri Lanka who led India on several occasions in the absence of regular skipper Virat Kohli, were both captains of the Australian teams and scored hundreds during the first innings.
