Sonu Sood completes 19 years in Bollywood tweets about his debut movie

Actor and humanitarian, Sonu Sood, has completed 19 years in Bollywood today. Sood had made his debut in 2002 with Shaheed-E-Azam which was directed by Sukumar Nair. Taking to his Twitter handle, Sonu Sood said that his debut movie will always remain special to him. “Oh Wow, How time flies..This will always remain as one of my most special film #ShaheedEAzamBhagatSingh,” the actor wrote on Twitter.

Shaheed-E-Azam was based on the life of freedom fighter, Bhagat Singh. In his long career, the actor has starred in films like Yuva, Jodhaa Akbar, Shootout at Wadala, Happy New Year and Simmba. In September of last year, he was honoured with the prestigious SDG Special Humanitarian Action Award by the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) for his commendable work during the COVID-19 pandemic. He has been one of the celebrities who has been constantly helping people out with COVID-19 related resources and information.
