Both Mohanlal and Amitabh Bachchan are cinema legends in India and so it comes as no surprise that when Mohanlal’s daughter Vismaya published a book called Grains of Stardust. She sent a copy of it to Amitabh, who took to Twitter to share his gratitude at being sent the book.
“MohanLal, superstar of Malayalam Cinema and one that I have immense admiration of, sends me a book, “Grains of Stardust”, written & illustrated by his daughter Vismaya.. A most creative sensitive journey of poems and paintings.. Talent is hereditary ! My best wishes (sic),” Amitabh wrote on the micro-blogging platform.
Mohanlal was naturally thrilled at the senior actor’s response and replied to him. “Words of appreciation coming from a legend is the best compliment and blessing Maya can get ! As for me this is the proudest moment as a father. Thank you @SrBachchan Sir (sic),” Mohanlal said in response.
Bachchan and Mohanlal have always been mutually appreciative of each others’ work and have even worked together in the Malayalam movie Kandahar.
