This film faced a lot of backlash for its misogynistic content. It did not go down well with a lot of people, however, that did not change the fact that it was one of the biggest blockbusters of that year. Shahid Kapoor played the role of an aggressive lover and a skilled doctor like a pro. The songs of the movie were also a few of the biggest chartbusters of that year.
